WWE RAW Results (6/8/26): Live Match Updates and Highlights

Your announcers are Michael Cole and Corey Graves.

Oba Femi makes his way to the ring. Oba says the people of Paris are awesome, but he has business to handle. Oba says there is a lot to talk about. He says he and Paul Heyman do not agree on much, but they do have one thing in common. They do not believe in predictions. They believe in spoilers.

Oba says it is a spoiler that he will run through everyone in King of the Ring. He says that will continue at Night of Champions, where he will destroy his opponent and take his rightful place on the throne as King of the Ring.

Oba says a ruler needs a crown, and this is the year he collects trophies. He says there is still one trophy he has not collected yet, and that is Brock Lesnar’s head. Oba says they are one and one, but Brock is not there. He says Brock sneaks in, cheats to win, and then disappears. Oba says Paul Heyman talks about a big bad Beast, but all he has seen is a big bad bitch. Oba says when he sees Brock again, he will settle the score.

Dominik Mysterio’s music plays and he makes his way to the stage. Dom says Oba does not rule anybody. He says Oba is too worried about Brock Lesnar when he should have been worried about him. Dom calls Oba a rookie and says he has only been around for a cup of coffee, while Dom is a 20-year veteran in the game. Dom says he is the King of the Luchadores, and once he becomes King of the Ring, he will rule over Oba.

Dom gets on the apron and tells Oba to make it easy, bend the knee, and respect the stache. JD McDonagh appears behind Oba and hits him with a chair, but Oba does not feel it. Oba turns around and punches the chair into JD’s face. Oba grabs JD, but Dom hits Oba with a 619. Dom goes up top, but Oba catches him and throws him across the ring. JD pulls Dom to the floor to save him.

Oba tells Dom that he messed up tonight. He says everyone knows Rey Mysterio is Dom’s father, but next week, he will introduce Dom to his daddy.

We take a look back at the main event from last week’s Raw.

Jackie Redmond is backstage with Seth Rollins and asks about what happened last week and whether he is done. Seth takes a moment to soak in the crowd humming his song. He says time is a flat circle. The last time he was in Paris, he was World Champion and the leader of The Vision, but The Vision is now in the past. Seth says the present is King of the Ring, and he plans to win it. The future is him taking back the title he never lost.

Seth says he has a date down the line with Roman Reigns, a man he used to call his brother. He says Roman cannot seem to win his titles on his own, and he cannot seem to beat Seth Rollins when it matters most. Seth says Roman is holding on to a title that does not belong to him. Seth says he made that title, and it belongs to him.

Liv Morgan vs. Alexa Bliss vs. Becky Lynch vs. Chelsea Green in the Queen of the Ring First Round Match

Liv rolls to the floor. Green escapes a uranage and Alexa kicks her. Green also escapes Sister Abigail before Becky sends her to the apron and punches her. Alexa takes control with a drop toe hold, a knee, and a dropkick. She hits the ropes, but appears to hurt her knee when Becky moves out of the way. Liv misses a splash into the ropes. Alexa then hits a cannonball on Becky on the floor. Green follows with a crossbody onto Liv and Alexa, but Becky cuts her off and sends Green into the ring post.

Becky sends Liv into the announce table. Becky then hits a leg drop off the turnbuckles onto Alexa for a near fall and argues with the referee. Becky follows with a forearm in the corner and an exploder on Alexa for another near fall.

Becky hits Alexa with a forearm to the back and sends her into the mat. Alexa answers with a jawbreaker, but misses a splash. Alexa blocks Becky’s double jump side kick and sends her over the top rope. Liv then hits a lung blower on Alexa for a near fall. Liv and Green trade forearms before Liv connects with a kick and hits a suplex. Liv holds on and hits a second one, but Alexa stops the third. Becky joins in, and they fight over a double suplex until Green and Alexa hit the move.

Alexa hits shoulder tackles and a dragon screw on Liv. Green takes out both women with shoulder tackles. Alexa follows with a flip senton onto Becky and Liv. Green and Alexa hit double knee strikes to the backs of Liv and Becky. Green then kicks Alexa and hits running double knees on Liv and Becky. Becky splashes Green, and Liv catches Becky with an elbow. Alexa hits Liv with a series of strikes and kicks. Alexa escapes a uranage attempt, and Green hits Becky with a missile dropkick. Alexa drops Green with a DDT for a near fall.

Becky stops Alexa on the turnbuckles, and they trade punches. Green pulls Becky down, then trades shots with Alexa. Alexa hits Green with a headbutt, but Liv hits a sunset flip powerbomb on Green. Alexa follows with Twisted Bliss to break up the cover, but Becky breaks up Alexa’s pin attempt. Becky punches Alexa and then sends Liv to the floor. She follows by knocking Green to the outside as well, leaving Becky and Alexa alone in the ring.

Alexa kicks Becky and goes for a tornado DDT, but Becky blocks it. Alexa is still able to get a near fall before hitting Becky with a blockbuster.Liv goes for ObLIVion, but Alexa blocks it and hits Sister Abigail for a near fall. Becky then comes back with a uranage for another near fall. Green hits UnprettiHER, but Liv catches her with a jackknife cover and steals the three count.

Winner: Liv Morgan

Cole and Corey talk about Penta and Rey Mysterio.

Penta says when people talk about lucha libre, they talk about Rey Mysterio, and Rey inspired him. Rey says he has never seen a member of the family rise as fast as Penta. Penta says stepping into the ring with Rey is an honor and the opportunity of a lifetime. Rey says it is an honor for him too, while Penta says this is more than a match because it is a piece of lucha libre history.

Penta then turns and sees Chad Gable. Chad says he will keep it short. He says he talked to Rey Fenix on SmackDown and admits he has done a lot of things over the last few years that he is ashamed of. Chad says it started when he lost to Penta in his debut match. He says he did not take the loss like a man and instead acted like a coward. Chad looks Penta in the eyes and apologizes. Penta says he loves lucha libre, and it is hard to respect someone who admits they were wrong. However, Penta says there is someone else Chad still needs to apologize to.

Byron Saxton is with Ethan Page on the Interstitial Stage and asks about the Intercontinental Title match. Ethan cuts him off and says his path has not gone the way he wanted. He has only been here for two months, but he already wrestled for the title on a PLE and had Penta beat. Ethan says there is favoritism on Raw because of Adam Pearce. He says Penta claims he has no fear, but he fears Ethan Page. Ethan wants to know where his rematch is and says he is smart enough to get what he wants. He says no matter who wins, the title is his target.

WWE announces that Sunday Night’s Main Event returns to Atlanta on September 6th.

Seth Rollins is in the locker room when Montez Ford walks in and wishes him luck in King of the Ring. Seth thanks Ford for his help and asks about Angelo Dawkins. Jimmy Uso, Jey Uso, and Jacob Fatu then show up. Jey tells Seth to be careful what he says about the family. Jey says he is going to win King of the Ring and beat Cody Rhodes.

Seth says it is nice that Jey is in King of the Ring, which is better than Jimmy. Seth says he is not talking about the family. He is talking about Roman Reigns. Seth says he thought they were better than this and better than doing Roman’s business. He says maybe this is the best it gets for them. Jey tells Fatu to get Seth. Fatu takes off his sunglasses, but then walks away.

Bayley walks up to Lyra Valkyria to hype her up for her match. Bayley says it is time for Lyra to get her Intercontinental Title back. She says everything Lyra has done in the past is what got her there, and Bayley tells Lyra that she believes in her before wishing her luck.

Sol Ruca vs. Lyra Valkyria

Sol and Lyra lock up, and Sol takes Lyra down with a side headlock. Lyra bridges out and turns it into a wrist lock, but Sol reverses and takes her down into an armbar. Lyra kicks her way free, and both women get back to their feet. Lyra applies a waist lock, but Sol counters with a belly-to-back suplex. Lyra lands on her feet and hits a springboard arm drag. Sol comes back with a near fall and then locks in a front face lock.

Sol sends Lyra into the ropes, and Lyra floats over. Sol then walks on her hands to get away from Lyra before hitting an X-Factor for a near fall. Lyra rolls to the floor and then gets back on the apron, but Sol kicks her. Sol escapes Lyra’s shoulder attempt and ends up on the apron. She hits a round kick and goes for a springboard, but Lyra catches her and eventually sends Sol over the top rope to the floor. Lyra follows Sol to the floor and hits a forearm to the back, followed by a European uppercut. They return to the ring, where Lyra gets a near fall with a snap mare and rollup.

Sol fights back with punches and forearms, but Lyra locks in a full nelson. Sol drops down to escape, but Lyra blocks her and tries to set up the Billy Goat’s Curse. Sol counters with a sunset flip for a near fall. Lyra answers with an enzuigiri for a near fall and then sends Sol hard into the corner twice. Sol comes back with an Irish whip, but misses a hip attack in the corner. Sol then counters out of the corner with a sunset flip for another near fall. Sol and Lyra hit clotheslines at the same time, and both women go down. Lyra lands a forearm, and Sol fires back as they trade shots. Sol connects with a thrust kick and an uppercut. Lyra misses a spinning back heel kick, and Sol follows with back elbows, sends Lyra into the turnbuckles, and hits a German suplex.

Sol keeps rolling with a missile dropkick and a running knee to the head for a near fall. Sol goes to the apron, but Lyra kicks her to stop her. Lyra climbs the turnbuckles and hits a leg drop while Sol is hanging in the ropes. Lyra follows with a spinning back heel kick for a near fall.

Lyra goes for a tornado DDT, but Sol escapes and lands on her feet. Lyra hits a dropkick and tries for Night Wing, but Sol fights out with elbows. Lyra catches Sol coming off the turnbuckles and gets her on her shoulders, but Sol counters Night Wing into a sunset flip. Lyra drops down for a near fall. Lyra misses a spinning heel kick and gets caught in the ropes. Sol takes advantage and hits Sol Snatcher for the three count.

Winner: Sol Ruca retains the championship.

We take a look back at the Tribal Rose Ceremony from last week.

Backstage, Jey approaches Jacob Fatu and wants to know what he was doing. Jimmy tells Fatu they called the play, and he is supposed to run it. Fatu tells Jimmy and Jey that he did not acknowledge them. He only acknowledged Roman Reigns. Fatu tells them to worry about LA Knight instead. He asks if they told LA to stop talking about the family, because LA is probably out there talking about them while they are doing nothing.

LA Knight is then seen walking backstage.

Byron Saxton is with Ricky Saints and asks about his match tonight. Ricky says he is not having a good time in Paris. He says there is nothing to prepare for when you are absolute, because there is no one like him. Ricky says no preparation is needed when it comes to him. Byron brings up Ricky’s opponents and asks if he has an edge. Ricky says it only took him six months to become NXT Champion and North American Champion, while it takes most people much longer. Ricky says he will prove tonight that he is a star. He says he is winning the match, becoming King of the Ring, and then becoming World Champion at SummerSlam.

LA Knight makes his way to the ring. Knight says he will be in a King of the Ring tournament match on Friday against Finn Balor, Royce Keys, and Jey Uso. He says normally he would talk about running through all of them and then facing Roman Reigns at SummerSlam, but this is different.

Knight says he is not mad that the fans chant for Roman because Roman has fooled them. He says Roman’s empire is close to crumbling, so Roman is trying to hold on to whatever he can. Knight says someone will probably come out on Friday to help Jey win, even though Jimmy and Jey told him it is none of his business.

Knight says he does not follow orders from Roman Reigns. He says Roman calls himself the chief, but if Knight wins on Friday, wins King of the Ring, and faces Roman for the title, every member of the Bloodline will come out to help Roman keep it. Knight says Adam Pearce will probably allow it, and he points out the difference between how Pearce spoke to him last week and how Pearce spoke to Roman the week before.

Knight says he might be unchosen, but the people have chosen him, and he chose himself. He says he gets the job done because he does not know how to quit or stop. Knight says he hopes Jey can win on Friday on his own without calling his family to ringside.

Jey Uso’s music plays. In the ring, Jey reminds everyone that he is here, and the crowd wants him to run it back. Knight says he is not standing around for that. Jey tells Knight to stay in his lane. He says he is also in King of the Ring, and on Friday, he will show Knight exactly who he is. Jey says this is Knight’s warning shot.

Knight says Jey has him wrong. He says he respects Jey’s passion for his family and how protective he is, because that is how a good man should be. With that in mind, Knight wishes Jey good luck on Friday, then tells him to screw his family. Jey starts to go after Knight.

Chad Gable is walking backstage when he sees Rey Mysterio and Dragon Lee. He asks for a minute with them. Dragon Lee says they are good. He tells Chad that he knows Chad understands what the mask means. Rey says they heard what Chad said to him and Penta, and tells him not to beat himself up over it. Rey says after watching the mask match, that was lucha libre, and he accepts Chad’s apology. Rey says he has known Chad for a while and is not going to judge him. However, Rey tells Chad he might want to look back even further at the things he may have regretted before he ever put the mask on.

 Penta vs. Rey Mysterio for the Men’s Intercontinental Championship

They shake hands before locking up. Penta gets a waist lock, but Rey counters with an arm drag. Penta answers with a head scissors, and Rey comes back with one of his own. Rey dropkicks Penta into the ropes, but Penta sends him to the apron. Penta slides between Rey’s legs, only for Rey to hit an Asai moonsault onto him on the floor.

Penta sends Rey into the ring post and breaks the referee’s count. He kicks Rey in the back of the leg and chops him against the post. Penta goes for another chop, but Rey moves and Penta hurts his hand.

They return to the ring, where Penta hits a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker for a near fall. Penta follows with a back heel kick for another near fall. He then punches and chops Rey, showing that his hand is fine.

Rey and Penta trade chops until Penta kicks Rey in the back of the leg to take him down. Penta sends Rey into the corner, and Rey floats over, but Penta catches him. Penta hits a thrust kick, an enzuigiri, and a hesitation headstand kick in the corner. Penta then hits a flip dive onto Rey on the floor. They return to the ring, and Penta signals for the Destroyer. Rey cuts him off with a kick and an Irish whip.

Penta floats over and hits a lung blower for a near fall. He follows with chops, but Rey comes back with a satellite DDT for a near fall. Rey hits a shoulder and tries for a sunset flip powerbomb off the apron, but Penta holds on. Rey blocks a kick and swings Penta back to the apron. Rey then hits a Tiger Feint Kick and follows with a sliding sunset flip powerbomb that sends Penta into the ringside barrier. Rey breaks the count, goes back to the floor, and kicks Penta. He sends Penta into the ring steps before they return to the ring. Penta rolls back to the floor, but he catches Rey with a kick to the leg. Penta then presses Rey over his head, holds him with one arm, and drops him on the apron.

They return to the ring, where Penta hits a clothesline for a near fall. Penta chops Rey, and Rey chops back as they trade shots. Penta kicks Rey in the leg, but Rey fires back with a kick of his own. Penta catches Rey off the ropes, but Rey blocks the Penta Driver. Rey lands a forearm, but Penta answers with a superkick and hits the Penta Driver for a near fall. Penta goes for the Destroyer, but Rey cuts him off with a kick. Penta catches Rey off the ropes again, but Rey counters with a poisonrana.

Rey dropkicks Penta into the ropes and hits the 619, followed by a springboard splash for a near fall. Rey and Penta exchange words before trading forearms. Penta hits a superkick and tries for another Penta Driver, but Rey rolls through and hits another 619. Rey goes up top for a frog splash, but Penta gets his knees up. Penta then hits the Destroyer for the three count.

Winner: Penta retains the championship.

After the match, Penta and Rey touch heads to show respect. Ethan Page and Rusev then attack Penta and Rey. Rusev hits Penta with a jumping thrust kick and puts Rey in the Accolade.

Dragon Lee’s music plays, and he runs to the ring. Lee kicks and punches Page, then goes after Rusev with punches and kicks. Page grabs Lee, but Lee sends him into Rusev. Lee hits Page with a thrust kick and clotheslines him to the floor before dropkicking Rusev off the apron. Page then trips Lee and sends him over the ringside barrier. Page tells Rusev to take off Rey’s mask. Rusev pulls the mask off, and Penta quickly covers Rey. Page then kicks Rey and Penta.

Chad Gable comes out and gives Page a German suplex. Rusev steps in and also gets taken down with a German suplex. Gable gives Page another German suplex and then gives Rusev a second one. Gable puts Page in the ankle lock, but Rusev pulls Page to the floor. Lee gets a towel so Rey can cover his face. Gable sees Rey’s mask on the mat and gives it to Penta so Rey can put it back on.

Raquel Rodriguez says she dominated her first match in Queen of the Ring. She says the next person in her way is Iyo Sky, and she already beat Iyo the last time they were in the ring together. Raquel says next week will be no different. Raquel says after she beats Iyo, she will take the title from Rhea Ripley at SummerSlam. She tells Iyo that she might want a ticket to SummerSlam because when Raquel wins the title, Rhea may need a shoulder to cry on.

Next week, Iyo Sky faces Raquel Rodriguez in the Queen of the Ring semifinals.

Roxanne tells Liv that she was right. She says she needs to start looking at the bigger picture and wants either Liv or Raquel to win Queen of the Ring. Roxanne says it would be great if Liv and Raquel ended up meeting in the finals. Dom then shows up and complains about what happened earlier. Liv says she has some ideas, while Roxanne says she will catch up with them later.

 Je’Von Evans vs. Seth Rollins vs. Talla Tonga vs. Ricky Saints in a King of the Ring Tournament

Ricky punches Seth, and Seth rolls to the floor. Ricky follows him, while Evans flips away from Talla. Evans hits a kick and goes for a springboard cutter, but Talla catches him and drops him with a clothesline.

Seth and Talla end up in the ring. Seth hits chops and a thrust kick, but Talla runs him over with a shoulder tackle. Talla lifts Seth, but Evans punches Talla. Seth joins in, and they both attack Talla. They hit double thrust kicks, followed by clotheslines from Seth and Evans.

Ricky gets sent to the floor, but he trips Seth. Talla kicks Evans, and Ricky sends Evans into Talla for a slam. Ricky then holds Seth so Talla can chop him, and does the same to Evans. Ricky and Talla high five, but Talla turns on Ricky with a boot.

Talla sends Ricky to the floor and clotheslines Seth over the top rope. Talla then puts Evans on his shoulders and press slams him onto Seth and Ricky on the floor. Talla sends Ricky into the ringside barrier and then sends Evans into the ring post. He hits Seth with a forearm to the back before they return to the ring. Talla hits a splash, a back elbow, and an elbow drop on Seth. Seth tries to fight back with chops, but Talla chops him down to the mat.

Talla knocks Evans off the apron with a boot, punches Ricky, and sends him to the floor. Talla follows and sends Ricky into the ringside barrier. He goes to pick Ricky up, but Ricky escapes and sends Talla into the ring post. Seth hits a suicide dive, and Ricky sends Talla into the post again. Seth and Ricky then push Talla over the ringside barrier into the timekeeper’s area.

Talla grabs Seth by the throat and then grabs Ricky, but Evans flies in with a crossbody to take him down. Seth and Ricky return to the ring and trade punches. Seth takes control with forearms, clotheslines, a running knee, and a Falcon Arrow. Seth follows with a kick, but Evans comes back with a rebound spinning heel kick for a near fall on Seth.

Evans goes to the apron, but Seth kicks him during a springboard attempt. Evans fires back with a kick. Seth blocks a slingshot head scissors and goes for a buckle bomb, but Evans counters with a rana into the turnbuckles. Ricky then kicks Evans and hits a tornado DDT for a near fall. The referee checks on Evans as Ricky goes up top. Evans quickly leaps up, then goes over the top rope to the floor. Evans catches Ricky with a kick and hits a Spanish Fly. Seth then hits Evans with a Pedigree, but Talla breaks up the cover. Seth escapes a chokeslam and fires back with a series of kicks.

Talla goes over the top rope to the floor, and Ricky sends Seth over as well. Ricky goes for Roshambo on Evans, but Evans escapes and sends Ricky to the floor. Evans then hits a plancha onto everyone.

Evans goes up top, but Ricky crotches him. Evans fights back with elbows, while Seth hits Ricky with forearms to the back. Seth goes to the turnbuckles, and Talla comes underneath for a Tower of Doom, but Evans lands on his feet. Evans hits a forearm, but Talla catches him with a clothesline when he goes for a rebound round kick. Seth breaks up the cover.

Talla grabs Seth by the throat and throws him over the top rope to the floor. Talla follows him and starts clearing the announce table. He grabs Seth, but Evans hits a suicide dive. Talla then chokeslams Evans onto the announce table. Seth answers with Black Out to Talla on the announce table.

Seth hits a knee to the back of Talla’s head off the ringside barrier. Back in the ring, Seth misses Black Out on Ricky. Seth escapes a tornado DDT and hits Black Out, but Austin Theory pulls the referee out of the ring.

Montez Ford attacks Theory, and they fight into the crowd. Bron Breakker then gets in the ring and spears Seth. Ricky crawls over to Seth, but Evans gets back in the ring. Ricky stands up and gets hit with the double jump cutter, allowing Evans to get the three count.

Winner: Je’Von Evans

That conclues the show.
