A familiar face from WWE is inside the CAA Centre ahead of tonight’s live TNA iMPACT.
According to PWInsider, that Zoey Serrano, formerly known as Zoey Stark, is backstage in Brampton, Ontario, before the August 27 broadcast on AMC.
There is no confirmation that Serrano will appear on camera, wrestle or sign with the company. For now, all that is known is that she is backstage ahead of the live show and Friday’s additional television tapings.
Serrano was released from WWE in April 2026 after five years with the company. Her run included winning the NXT Women’s Tag Team Championship with IYO SKY, competing in multiple Royal Rumble matches and working alongside Trish Stratus and Shayna Baszler on the main roster.
This would not be Serrano’s first trip through TNA. Before signing with WWE, she competed for the company as Lacey Ryan in 2020 and challenged Jordynne Grace for the Knockouts World Championship. She also faced Kiera Hogan during that short run.
Serrano recently revealed that she received offers from TNA and WWE around the same time before ultimately choosing WWE. Her backstage presence now immediately raises questions about whether the two sides could be discussing unfinished business.
