Following the success of the inaugural Double or Nothing PPV on May 25, 2019, All Elite Wrestling (AEW) launched its weekly programming on October 2nd with Dynamite, which quickly became the flagship show for the promotion. The show debuted on WarnerMedia’s TNT, marking the first time in almost two decades that a wrestling program was being broadcast on the channel since WCW’s closure. Going head-to-head with WWE’s third programming NXT on Wednesdays, Dynamite initially faced stiff competition. However, thanks to a more extensive roster and major impact on storylines, Dynamite soon overtook NXT in ratings.
After the introduction of AEW Rampage, Dynamite moved to TNT’s sister channel TBS in early 2022, solidifying its position as one of the most popular wrestling shows on television today.
AEW Dynamite is a weekly professional wrestling program that airs live on TBS every Wednesday at 8 pm Eastern Time. Fans can also watch the show on the TNT app or website with a cable or satellite TV subscription.
