Dave Meltzer mentioned on Wrestling Observer Radio that Vince McMahon was not exactly high on Kevin Owens, even as recently as a couple months ago. Meltzer said it was telling that he sold huge for Owens in the segment on last week’s episode of SmackDown Live.
Meltzer believes that McMahon had to pretty much put Owens over because Owens is the only logical opponent for Shane McMahon right now.
