Russo is joined on today’s show by his co-host Jeff Lane and Glenn Gilbertti (Disco Inferno).
Gilbertti discusses some heat he received for a tweet he sent out last week. In regards to the notion that there aren’t any hot girls at independent wrestling shows, Gilbertti tweeted out to his fans urging them to send in pictures of hot women at indie shows, if they spot any. He received a lot of negative criticism for this tweet, and he says it wasn’t meant to be taken seriously to begin with.
He admits that the tweet may not have been written the way it should have been, and this could have led to some people taking the tweet seriously. He deleted the tweet just in case some of his followers took it seriously, took pictures of women and sent them into him, making these women uncomfortable in turn. He says that the wrestling business has become so politically correct as of late.
Lane points out that in spite of the initial reports which stated that there was no backstage heat on Nakamura, apparently Vince McMahon was indeed upset after John Cena was dropped on the back on his head on Smackdown Live.
