As seen at Sunday’s WrestleMania 33 event, Matt and Jeff Hardy made their return to WWE to defeated Luke Gallows & Karl Anderson, Enzo & Big Cass and Cesaro & Sheamus in a RAW Tag Team Championship Fatal Four-Way Ladder match. Jeff Hardy was reportedly not in the best shape heading into the show.
Dave Meltzer mentioned on today’s installment of Wrestling Observer Radio that Jeff was in rough shape after dropping the Ring of Honor Tag Team Titles to The Young Bucks the night before in a grueling match. When he got to his hotel room in Orlando, he told people in the lobby that he was going to his room to get some sleep, but instead he and Matt went to the Camping World Stadium to capture the Championship Titles.
Matt and Jeff apparently arrived at WrestleMania moments before their match and Jeff was visibly hurting from the night before.
