Giulia Embarks on Intensive English Training to Improve Promo Skills

Giulia has been on an absolute tear since her NXT debut back at No Mercy last year and her presentation is one of her strongest aspects. In fact, she is determined to improve her promo game and that’s why she is learning English as much as possible.

While speaking to Tokyo Sports, Giulia revealed that she takes English lessons twice a week, but feels it’s not enough. To improve, she studies at home and looks for ways to incorporate learning into her daily life until she can fully understand the language. She explained that in Japan, there’s a strong emphasis on the importance of language, and as a professional wrestler, microphone appeal is crucial.

Giulia added that she’s not satisfied with where she is now and views English as an essential skill. Giulia is determined to keep studying and hopes to one day deliver proper wrestling promotions in English.

“I take English lessons twice a week, but that’s not enough. I study at home and increase my opportunities to learn in my daily life until I can understand it. In Japan, we have always placed great importance on “language,” so I think that microphone appeal is important as a professional wrestler. That’s why I don’t think for a second that I’m “happy the way I am now.” English is an absolutely necessary skill, so I will continue to study it, and one day I’d like to be able to do proper promotions in English.”
