The WWE Universe is gearing up for an unforgettable Royal Rumble experience next month, and fans can expect some legendary names to make their presence felt at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis.
According to PWInsider.com, WWE is in talks to bring back former Royal Rumble winners for special cameo appearances at the WWE Royal Rumble 2025 premium live event on February 1.
While these icons are not expected to step back into the ring, wrestling legends Ric Flair and “Hacksaw” Jim Duggan are among the names reportedly being considered. Duggan, who won the first-ever Royal Rumble match in 1988, and Flair, who delivered an all-time classic victory in 1992, are just a couple of the familiar faces WWE plans to showcase as part of the event’s celebration of its storied history.
This year’s Royal Rumble also marks John Cena’s farewell appearance in the iconic match, adding another layer of nostalgia and excitement to the already stacked event.
WWE Royal Rumble 2025 promises to be a night full of surprises, history, and unforgettable moments. With legends like Flair and Duggan potentially making their presence known, the event will pay homage to the Rumble’s legacy while setting the stage for the road to WrestleMania.
