The Hardys Eyeing First-Time-Ever Match Amid WWE-TNA Partnership

Matt and Jeff Hardy have squared off against many of the top tag teams in wrestling throughout their legendary careers. Despite this, there are still exciting matchups to be had, including a long-awaited showdown with the Motor City Machine Guns. The Hardys have made it clear that facing the Guns is now on their radar and something they’re eager to make happen.

While speaking to the Sports Guy Talking West podcast, The Hardys were asked if there was a team they hadn’t faced yet but would like to. Jeff Hardy mentioned that Matt had brought it up before, but it hadn’t crossed his mind much.

They both agreed that the Motor City Machine Guns stood out, especially now that they’re back in WWE and performing at a high level. They also mentioned The Rascalz as another team they had never faced, but noted that a match with them is about to happen soon.

“I know Matt mentioned this, I hadn’t really thought about it at all, but we’ve never had a match with the Motor City Machine Guns. Being that they’re back in [WWE] now and killing it, and The Rascalz was the other team, but we’re about to bring that into reality. So yeah, it was The Rascalz and the Motor City Machine Guns that we had never had a match with, but this one with The Rascalz is about to go down.”

TNA Wrestling and WWE’s partnership has been a big deal since May last year and Matt Hardy already made it clear that he and Jeff Hardy want to end their careers in WWE. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether Matt and Jeff Hardy will make their return to WWE this year for a match with the Motor City Machine Guns, as fans would more than love to see that happen.
