Wrestling legend Jim Ross didn’t hold back during the latest episode of his Grilling JR podcast, where he opened up about a shocking offer from former WWE star Tammy Sytch, famously known as Sunny. Following the tragic passing of his wife, Jan, in 2017, Ross revealed that Sytch proposed moving in with him in Oklahoma, offering to take care of him in more ways than one.

“She got break after break after break,” Ross said of Sytch’s troubled history. “She brought a lot of this sh*t on herself. I remember her offering she wanted to move in with me in Oklahoma at one time.”

Ross recalled her bold proposition, which came during one of the most vulnerable periods of his life. “Yeah, I’m a good girlfriend. I can cook. I’ll take care of you in the bedroom. Blah, blah, blah, and we can have a great time,” Ross shared.

But despite his loneliness and heartbreak, the wrestling icon quickly turned her down. “I thought about it for like, 10 seconds. No way in hell.”

Ross explained his reasoning, pointing out the emotional baggage that came with Sytch’s offer. “I might be naive and lonely and heartbroken, but god damn it, I already been down that road. I already saw what she was all about, and I wasn’t going to bring myself into the dramatic aspect of my life, and I’m sure as glad I didn’t do it. A piece of ass is a piece of ass. What the hell. Ain’t worth the trouble… I dodged the bullet there. I promise you.”

Ross also clarified that there was never any prior sexual relationship between him and Sytch and that her proposal came completely out of the blue. The WWE Hall of Famer’s raw and honest take shed light on the challenging aftermath of losing his wife and the unexpected situations that followed.

Jim Ross’s story about Tammy Sytch’s unexpected proposal is just another wild chapter in the world of wrestling. While JR chose to avoid the drama, his honesty about the situation speaks volumes. Wrestling fans can always count on JR to tell it like it is.
