Dominik Mysterio has become one of WWE’s biggest heels in recent years, and it’s clear why. Fans boo him the moment he speaks, showing how much he annoys them. That’s exactly why it’s no surprise that he accused The Rock and John Cena of trying to cash in on WWE’s popularity.

While speaking during an interview on Busted Open Radio, Dominik Mysterio was asked about The Rock and John Cena’s recent return to WWE television. Mysterio made it clear he doesn’t like talking about The Rock and Cena, calling them “old heads.”

Mysterio expressed his belief that they seemed to join WWE’s current momentum after noticing its growing popularity, making it clear that he believes they are just trying to cash in on WWE’s popularity.

“I don’t even like to talk about these old heads because I feel like, no offense, but you got guys like Rock and John Cena coming in, and it’s like, I don’t know, they saw something cool and they’re like, ‘Oh, let me jump on the train.'”

This isn’t even the first time Dominik Mysterio went after The Rock and it likely won’t be the last. Both The Rock and John Cena made solid appearances during the January 6th edition of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, so we’ll have to wait and see whether either of them will be involved in a program or segment with Dominik Mysterio, as fans feel it’s more than necessary now.

What’s your take on Dominik Mysterio’s comments about The Rock and John Cena? Do you think his criticism is justified, or is it just another way to fuel his heel character? Share your thoughts in the comments below!
