Becky Lynch’s re-signing with WWE has ended weeks of speculation about her future, and now attention turns to what lies ahead for “The Man” on the road to WrestleMania 41. While Lynch has yet to make her official return to television, plans for her involvement in WWE’s biggest event of the year are starting to take shape.
According to Billi Bhatti on the Dirty Sheets Backstage podcast, WWE has tentatively planned a rematch between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley for WrestleMania 41. Bhatti explained, “We moved onto January 6 for the Netflix show. The WWE did not have a single match booked for WrestleMania 100% other than a rematch between Becky Lynch and Rhea Ripley, which we are moving towards.”
Lynch’s re-signing with WWE ensures that “The Man” isn’t going anywhere. After her contract expired in 2024, there was rampant speculation about her future, especially after she skipped the Monday Night RAW Netflix debut. Earlier reports confirm that Lynch and WWE finalized a deal, though her return to television remains unannounced. At recent Netflix-related events, Lynch reportedly told attendees she was simply supporting the company, not involved in any active storyline.
With Lynch’s new contract in place and WrestleMania plans in motion, all eyes are on how WWE reintroduces her to television. A rematch with Ripley could solidify her status as a top star in the division, but fans know WWE’s creative landscape can change at the drop of a hat.
