Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair are back in WWE’s internal active roster, signaling their official return to the company.

WrestleVotes reported on January 9, “We’re told both Becky Lynch and Charlotte Flair names now officially appear on the current internal active roster once again. As of early this week, we can say that Becky Lynch is set to return on the Raw brand, while Charlotte will make her home on Friday night. So a little status quo there.”

This news follows weeks of speculation about both superstars’ futures. Lynch recently finalized a new contract with WWE after her previous deal expired in 2024. Despite skipping the Monday Night RAW Netflix debut, her re-signing has ensured that “The Man” is sticking around for WrestleMania season.

Charlotte Flair, on the other hand, has been sidelined since 2024 due to a severe knee injury. Her imminent return coincides with rumblings of a marquee WrestleMania 41 match against Tiffany Stratton for the WWE Women’s Championship. As Billi Bhatti revealed on the Dirty Sheets podcast, WWE is “moving towards Charlotte and Tiffany” for WrestleMania, while Lynch is expected to rekindle her rivalry with Rhea Ripley in a high-profile rematch.

Bhatti also noted, “It does look very much like Charlotte Flair or Becky will be winning the Royal Rumble,” hinting that either superstar could take center stage heading into WWE’s biggest event of the year.

With Flair reportedly set for Friday Night SmackDown and Lynch slotted for RAW, both brands are poised to see major shake-ups as WrestleMania approaches. Fans are now left to wonder how WWE will reintroduce its two biggest female stars in the coming weeks.
