The Hardys are proving that age is just a number. After reuniting in TNA at Against All Odds and later capturing the TNA World Tag Team Championship at Bound For Glory, Matt and Jeff Hardy are showing no signs of slowing down—even after three decades in the business.

Speaking with Stew Myrick on Sports Guys Talking Wrestling, Matt Hardy opened up about their future in wrestling, and it’s clear the legendary duo isn’t ready to hang up their boots just yet.

When asked about the possibility of stepping back from competition, Matt dismissed the idea of setting a timeline. “I think if you would have asked us this a couple years ago, maybe it would have [crossed our minds]. But this run in TNA, and the way we both feel physically… these ice baths, the inflammation is down, and our bodies feel better. It’s a ritual we do every single morning when we get up.”

Matt mentioned that he and Jeff are fully dedicated to their craft, saying, “We’re definitely not putting any kind of concrete amount of time on this. We’re gonna ride this spiral until it ends. We’re going to give and give and give everything we have until we can’t do this anymore.”

The veteran also gave a nod to Dustin Rhodes, calling him an inspiration for wrestlers in their later years. “I love the fact that Dustin is still going so hard. Dustin is an amazing guy, huge fan of Dustin and his story about getting sober and his sobriety and how serious he takes it. He’s killing it every time he steps out there. So he’s very inspiring for an older guy, or a guy that’s aged a little more like I am.”

Matt concluded by reiterating their approach to their wrestling careers. “Jeff and I, I don’t think we’re necessarily putting any kind of date or window on when to hang it up, when to hang up the boots. I think we’re just gonna go until we feel like we can’t go anymore.”

With their passion and resilience, it’s clear The Hardys are determined to continue carving their legacy in the ring for as long as they can.
