Kris Statlander Wins Huge Advantage in First-Ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match During 1/8 AEW Dynamite

AEW is breaking into the new year, and the January 8 episode of Dynamite brought as much attention as they could for Tony Khan’s company. They also needed to determine a new challenger for Mariah May’s title, and that called for another Casino Gauntlet match.

AEW held a big match to shape the upcoming Women’s Casino Gauntlet match to determine the number one contender for the AEW Women’s World Title. The winner of this match would secure the top spot in the Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match. The participants included Kris Statlander, Toni Storm, and Willow Nightingale.

Mariah May told the AEW women’s roster to bring it, and make history. Then Harley Cameron showed up and got a non-title match for “hot girl graps” on AEW Collision this week.

In the match to determine the top spot in the Casino Gauntlet match, each woman brought their A-Game. In the end, Kris Statlander got the win after she nailed a Staturday Night Fever. Now, she will have a big advantage in the first-ever Women’s Casino Gauntlet match.

We will have to see if Mariah May will be able to keep her title. At this point, anything is on the table, because she’s held that championship for quite some time.
