Brie Bella Admits Deion Sanders Was Her Childhood Celebrity Crush

Nikki and Brie Bella are two of the biggest names in WWE history due to their significant contributions to the industry, but they also have interesting stories to share outside of wrestling. In fact, Brie Bella revealed to Deion Sanders that she had a crush on him when she was in middle school.

While speaking on We Got Time Today with Deion Sanders and Rocsi Diaz, Brie Bella was asked about her high school crush and shared that her first celebrity crush was Deion Sanders when she was in middle school.

Brie also talked about how she once had a Dallas Cowboys jersey with Sanders’ name on it, which caused trouble in her family. Her family, especially her grandfather, were big Philadelphia Eagles fans, and having a Cowboys jersey made things awkward at home. Despite this, Deion Sanders remained her crush, and she even looked through old photos to find a picture of her wearing his jersey.

“It was actually middle school, and it was you, Deion. You were my first celebrity crush. You want to know something crazy? Listen to this. This is for real. I was looking through a box of my childhood photos, I’m like, I need to find a picture of me in Deion’s jersey. But my grandfather, full-blown Italian from South Philly, so we’re diehard Philadelphia Eagles fans. It was very hard on my family because they’re like, ‘Wait, she has Deion Sanders’ Dallas Cowboys jersey, and the fact that you were my crush, could have got me kicked out of my family.”

This fun moment not only shared a surprising piece of Brie Bella’s past but also showed the connection she has with Deion Sanders. Fans of both the Bella Twins and Sanders got to enjoy something they never could have expected. That said, they are now interested in seeing the Bella Twins make their WWE in-ring return now that Nikki Bella confirmed there are no longer any issues between the Bellas and WWE.
