Winner via pinfall: Will Ospreay

After the match, Ospreay grabs a microphone. He takes a moment to acknowledge Buddy Matthews for an incredible contest. “Buddy and Brody are absolute beasts,” he says, “but you don’t need to be following anyone. You’ve got what it takes to chase tag team gold—or even singles gold.”

They grab a microphone, announcing, “This calls for a celebration!” However, their moment is cut short as the Hurt Syndicate interrupts, storming onto the stage with a menacing presence, making their intentions clear. The tension rises as the two teams face off.

MVP grabs a microphone, addressing Private Party with a sly grin. “We’re here to join in your celebration,” he says, motioning to the Hurt Syndicate. Raising a glass, MVP continues, “Here’s a toast—to the tag champs… and to the Hurt Syndicate taking those tag team titles real soon.” Bobby Lashley steps forward, smirking as he eyes the belts, making their intentions unmistakable. The tension lingers as the Syndicate exits the stage, their music hitting once more as Bobby Lashley makes his way to the ring for the next match. Moments later, Mark Briscoe heads down the ramp, fired up and ready for action. With both men in the ring, the bell rings to kick things off!

Bobby Lashley vs. Mark Briscoe

Lashley holds onto the Hurt Lock for a moment longer, refusing to release the hold until MVP steps in and raises his arm in victory. As Lashley celebrates, Shelton Benjamin joins him, and the two launch a post-match attack on Briscoe. The crowd erupts as Private Party rushes down the ramp, chairs in hand, to make the save. The Hurt Syndicate reluctantly backs off, leaving the ring with smug looks as the champs’ music plays and the show cuts to another break.

We return to ringside, and it’s time for the Casino Gauntlet Match to determine the new #1 contender for the AEW World Championship! First to enter is Jay White, confidently making his way to the ring. The anticipation builds as the next participant is revealed—Hangman Adam Page! The crowd erupts as Page strides down the ramp with intensity, ready to face the Switchblade.

AEW World Title Number One Contender’s Match: Casino Gauntlet

The match heats up as Adam Page and Jay White start arguing over the Worlds End situation. Tempers flare, and the two trade strikes until Page gains the upper hand, nearly scoring a pinfall. Both men then manage to evade each other’s signature moves, with the action spilling into the corner. White seizes the opportunity, hitting Page with a superplex just as the countdown for the next participant begins.

The clock strikes zero, and Wheeler Yuta enters the fray, making his way to ringside through the crowd. However, as soon as he steps into the ring, Yuta is met with a devastating Blade Runner from Jay White! White goes for the pin, but Page dives in to break it up, keeping his chances alive.

Yuta is tossed out of the ring as Page channels his fury, driving White into the corner with a clothesline. White escapes Page’s grasp and briefly fends off Yuta, only to be sent to the floor by a forearm from Page. The countdown begins again, and the crowd erupts with chants of “WHOSE HOUSE?”

But instead of Swerve Strickland, it’s Ricochet who emerges as the next participant! Page appears to calm down momentarily, but Yuta takes advantage, sending him out of the ring. Ricochet enters and quickly fights off Yuta, taking control of the ring. As Page re-enters, Ricochet takes him down with a spectacular crossbody for a nearfall just before the show cuts to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Adam Page and Jay White are in control, tossing Ricochet and Wheeler Yuta out of the ring. The countdown begins again, and Adam Cole (Bay Bay) makes his entrance to a huge ovation. Cole hits the ring, going after Page, White, Ricochet, and Yuta, taking them all down. He nails Ricochet with a Panama Sunrise but only gets a two-count. The next participant is Daniel Garcia, who rushes to the ring and immediately trades strikes with Cole. Garcia hits a suplex and sends Cole to the corner for punches. When White and Page try to intervene, Garcia throws them into the chaos, taking control of the match.

Yuta enters the ring, locking eyes with Garcia before they exchange strikes. Yuta gains the upper hand and lays Garcia out. Ricochet joins in, and together, they send the TNT Champion out of the ring. The countdown begins again, revealing the next participant: Powerhouse Hobbs.

Hobbs storms to the ring, immediately tossing Ricochet over the ropes to the outside. He then turns his attention to Yuta and Jay White, overpowering both. Page steps up to Hobbs, mocking him, but Hobbs counters by catching him in the corner and delivering a T-bone suplex, leaving Page sprawled on the canvas as we head to a commercial break.

Back from the break, Ricochet is flipped inside out by a devastating clothesline from Hobbs. The Powerhouse follows up with a body slam on Jay White, drawing “Meat” chants from the crowd. Fired up, Hobbs charges at White in the corner, but White narrowly escapes. The countdown begins again, and Roderick Strong makes his entrance.

Strong immediately hits White and Page with backbreakers before Ricochet tries to stop him, only to face a 3-on-1 beatdown from Strong, Cole, and Garcia in the corner. The chaos is briefly broken up before Strong nails a running kick on Hobbs. Ricochet fights off Page but is quickly taken down by White. Yuta prevents a Blade Runner attempt as the countdown reveals the next participant: Lance Archer.

Archer storms to the ring, clearing it out before slamming Ricochet onto the canvas. Ricochet rolls away but is caught and tossed by Hobbs toward Archer. Archer responds in kind, but Hobbs hits a massive powerslam, only for Archer to pop back up. The two titans trade strikes as the countdown begins again, revealing Kyle O’Reilly.

Kyle takes out Yuta on his way to the ring and teams with Strong to take Hobbs down with a high-low. The countdown starts again, and Jeff Jarrett enters, but Wheeler Yuta blindsides him, dragging him toward the backstage area as the focus shifts back to the chaos in the ring.

Lance Archer takes control, clearing the ring before setting up Powerhouse Hobbs on the turnbuckle for the Blackout. However, Hobbs powers out, sending Archer crashing to the outside. Kyle O’Reilly re-enters the ring, landing a series of kicks on Hobbs, but the Powerhouse counters, slamming Kyle hard to the mat for the decisive pin and victory.

Winner (and new #1 Contender to the AEW World Title): Powerhouse Hobbs

After the match, Renee Paquette steps into the ring to interview the new #1 contender, who will face Jon Moxley for the AEW World Championship next week at Maximum Carnage. Hobbs acknowledges that Moxley was the one who brought him into AEW but boldly declares, “Next week, I’m going to shock the world and become the AEW World Champion.”

Hobbs celebrates his win, heading up the ramp and stopping to shake hands with Jeff Jarrett, who has finally made his way back to ringside. Jarrett appears ready to speak as he heads toward the ring.

Video Package: A preview airs, highlighting the escalating tensions between Christian Cage and HOOK, set to come to a head next week on Maximum Carnage Dynamite!

Back at ringside, Jeff Jarrett is joined by Ian Riccaboni, ready to address what’s next for the Last Outlaw. Jarrett takes the mic, reflecting on his career and admitting he’s had to ask himself the tough question: Does he still have what it takes? Before he can continue, Jarrett is interrupted by the unmistakable music of MJF. The AEW World Champion struts out to the stage, drawing the attention of the crowd and cutting off Jarrett’s moment as the tension in the arena rises. MJF steps into the ring, immediately telling Ian Riccaboni to step aside before turning his attention to Jeff Jarrett. Introducing himself in his signature smug style, Friedman wastes no time addressing the Casino Gauntlet match and taking a shot at Jarrett. “Tough break, Jeff—you weren’t even part of the conversation tonight,” he sneers.

He shifts gears, referencing his AEW World Championship, the Big Burberry Belt (BBB), and hyping up Jarrett’s storied career. But the flattery is short-lived as MJF twists the knife, reminding Jarrett that “the clock is ticking.” With a wicked grin, MJF reveals a detail Jarrett had hoped to keep quiet: “That contract you signed? It’s only good for one more year. And do you know why, Jeff? Because professional wrestling only wants you around for that long.” The crowd reacts with a mix of boos and shock as MJF smirks, savoring his verbal takedown. MJF continues, taunting Jarrett by saying, “You’ve only got one more year to prove you’ve still got it. Lucky for you, I’m willing to help… because without me, Jeff, you couldn’t even win a match.” He grins, raising the stakes. “All I want in return is one thing: when you win the BBB, I get the first shot at it.” MJF extends his hand, waiting for Jarrett to seal the deal.

Jarrett doesn’t back down. He acknowledges MJF’s status as the longest-reigning AEW World Champion but fires back, “Your failures have outweighed your success.” He smirks, turning to the crowd. “You know what we call people like MJF around here? One-hit wonders.” The fans erupt into chants of “One-hit wonder!” as Jarrett continues. “I know the road I have to go down,” Jarrett says. “I’ve been at rock bottom, and I’m comfortable there. I know how to scratch and claw my way back to the top. You, on the other hand, had your chance to enter the Casino Gauntlet, but instead, you schemed and connived like the entitled prick you are.” Jarrett finishes with a sharp refusal. “I’m not buying what you’re selling, kid.” With that, the Last Outlaw exits the ring, heading up the ramp as MJF glares at him, seething. The tension lingers as the show cuts to a commercial break.

Back from the break, we’re reminded of the Death Riders’ brutal attack on Darby Allin during the final Rampage of 2024. The update reveals that no one has heard from Darby since. We then head to ringside for the arrival of Adam Copeland, also known as Cope.

As Cope makes his way to the ring, we see highlights from Collision. With a microphone in hand, Cope addresses Jon Moxley’s actions against Darby and the Death Riders targeting FTR, calling it a huge mistake. He then responds to Moxley’s claims that AEW’s roster doesn’t have what it takes to handle the grind.

Cope confidently states that no one has endured more in the ring than he has. He recalls breaking his neck during a match with Eddie Guerrero, only to wrestle for another 20 minutes and win. He also brings up breaking his leg in a match against Malakai Black, yet finishing the match and securing the victory. “What can the World Champion do to me that hasn’t already been done?” Cope asks.

Before he can continue, Moxley’s music hits. Mox, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta emerge through the crowd, heading toward ringside as Cope stares them down. But just as the Death Riders approach, FTR blindsides them, attacking from behind and igniting chaos at ringside.

he brawl intensifies as Cope and Moxley find themselves alone in the ring. The Rated R Superstar prepares to take out the champion, but the moment is interrupted by Marina Shafir rushing down to ringside. Cope fends off her attack, only to be blindsided by PAC, who uses the briefcase containing the World Title to strike him from behind.

The rest of the Death Riders swarm Cope, unleashing a vicious assault. As they pull out a plastic bag to escalate the attack, the crowd erupts as Powerhouse Hobbs charges down the ramp. The #1 contender storms into the ring, forcing the Death Riders to retreat. Hobbs and Moxley lock eyes in a tense stare-down, setting the stage for their title clash next week. The scene fades to a commercial break.

Back from the break, we hear from Mariah May, who confidently taunts the women in next week’s Casino Gauntlet, calling them “marionettes” and encouraging them to dance for her before she beats whoever becomes the new #1 contender. Her remarks are interrupted by Harley Cameron, who steps out and challenges May to a non-title match. May smirks and accepts, promising “Hot Girl Graps” at Collision.

Kris capitalizes with a slam on Willow for another nearfall, while Storm waits for her moment.

Storm climbs the turnbuckle and launches herself with a double crossbody, taking down both Statlander and Nightingale. Kris recovers quickly, stopping an attempt at a sunset flip, but before she can finish, Willow catapults Storm into an awkward collision with Statlander. The chaos continues just as the show cuts to a commercial break!

Kris shifts her focus to Willow, but Toni quickly intervenes, prompting Statlander to target the former Women’s World Champion instead. Willow re-enters the fray, and the chaos leaves all three women down on the mat.

Kris and Toni are first to their feet, with Statlander sending Storm into the corner. However, Willow charges in and takes Kris out with a massive pounce. Toni tries to go after Nightingale but ends up in the corner, where Willow hits her with a running cannonball. Willow follows up by lifting Toni for a Death Valley Driver, but Storm fights back and sends Willow away before countering an advancing Statlander.

Willow recovers and grabs Kris in a waistlock, pulling Toni into the mix. This results in a double German suplex that sends both Storm and Statlander crashing to the mat. As the dust settles, Toni attempts to regain control, but Willow is knocked aside. Kris seizes the moment, catching Storm with Staturday Night Fever for the decisive pinfall victory.

Winner via pinfall (and #1 in next week’s Women’s Casino Gauntlet Match): Kris Statlander

The commentary team reminds us that Kenny Omega will be up next as the show heads to another commercial break.

Backstage, Toni Storm reflects on her disappointment after losing tonight’s match but remains optimistic about next week’s Women’s Casino Gauntlet, where she looks to turn things around.

Back at ringside, the crowd erupts as Kenny Omega makes his grand return following his appearance at Worlds End. The fans show their love for the Best Bout Machine as he makes his way down the ramp. Omega grabs a microphone and pauses, visibly moved by the warm reception.

Nearly taken aback by the chants, Omega thanks the crowd for their support. As the chants grow louder, he begins to open up, sharing his recent struggles. He reveals that after checking himself into the hospital, he was diagnosed with diverticulitis. Kenny recounts the toll it took on him, from undergoing surgery to enduring the grueling recovery process.

He recalls asking his doctor how long it would take to recover and when he could wrestle again. The doctor’s response? Kenny would be lucky to return to a normal way of life, let alone step back into the ring. The crowd listens intently as Omega’s passion and determination shine through, setting the stage for what’s next.

Kenny Omega continues, reflecting on his journey and the challenges he faced. He admits that at one point, he questioned if it was worth all the trouble. For a moment, he thought giving up was the safest option—but the second that thought crossed his mind, he realized he had no purpose without wrestling and without the fans. A few days ago, he put himself to the test by wrestling in Japan, reigniting his passion.

Omega explains that while he may not be able to do everything he once could, this version of Kenny Omega isn’t driven by money or power. Before he can say more, he’s interrupted by Don Callis, whose music hits to a chorus of boos.

Callis steps onto the stage, mockingly addressing Omega, calling him “back from the dead.” Before Callis can go any further, Omega bolts out of the ring and charges up the ramp, determined to confront him. However, he’s intercepted by the Don Callis Family, who swarm Omega and drag him back to the ring, setting the stage for an intense confrontation.

The beatdown intensifies as Kyle Fletcher and Lance Archer hold Kenny Omega up, exposing him for Brian Cage to deliver a vicious punch to his abdomen, directly targeting the area that underwent surgery. Before the assault can escalate further, Will Ospreay storms down the ramp with a steel chair in hand to make the save!

Cage attempts to ambush Ospreay on the ramp, but Ospreay counters with a chair shot to the gut, taking Cage down. He then clears the ring, driving off the rest of the Don Callis Family. With the Family retreating, Ospreay turns to face Omega, dropping the chair. The two stare each other down in an intense moment as commentary hypes next week’s card, including Kenny Omega’s AEW in-ring return against Brian Cage.

Back in the ring, Omega sets the chair up, seemingly preparing to address the crowd. Meanwhile, Ospreay heads up the ramp, soaking in the cheers as the audience shows their appreciation for Omega. The show closes with the Best Bout Machine standing tall in the ring, still looking like he has something more to say.
