Sheamus had been on the shelf due to a serious shoulder injury back in 2023 but he finally made his triumphant return during the April 15th edition of Monday Night RAW. However, The Celtic Warrior has now revealed that WWE kept him in the dark regarding his return.
While speaking to Chris Van Vliet, Sheamus revealed that WWE didn’t inform him about his return on the April 15th episode of Monday Night RAW. The Celtic Warrior stated that he found out while watching the show at home.
As he sat on the couch, a promo aired announcing, “Sheamus back next week.” Surprised, he thought, “I am?” He checked his phone for confirmation but found no messages. Left to process the news in real-time, Sheamus simply accepted it and didn’t complain.
“Then I found out on the RAW after Mania that I was back next week. No one told me. So that was fun. I’m sitting on the couch and there’s this package playing ‘Sheamus back next week’ and I was like, ‘I am?’ I checked the phone. No one texted me. I’m just watching RAW you know, I was like, ‘Alright, guess I’m back next week.’ Is this real? Yeah, alright.”
The Celtic Warrior is currently engaged in a feud with Ludwig Kaiser and it’s clear the company has enough trust in him to elevate Kaiser to the next level. After all, Sheamus just loves fighting and putting on banger after banger, so fans are looking forward to seeing how WWE will book him this year.
