Will Ospreay Match Announced for AEW Dynamite in Tennessee

AEW Dynamite just got even bigger as Tony Khan took to Twitter on January 7 to announce another match for tomorrow night’s show in Clarksville, Tennessee. “Buddy Matthews aims for revenge vs. the man who eliminated his partner from the C2 on Christmas: Will Ospreay!” Khan wrote, confirming Buddy Matthews vs. Will Ospreay for January 8 on TBS and Max.

This clash comes with plenty of history and bad blood. Matthews, one-third of the AEW Trios Champions, is still looking to settle the score after Ospreay eliminated his partner from the Christmas Chaos tournament. With both men known for their high-impact, technical styles, this matchup has all the ingredients for a memorable showdown.

This announcement adds even more firepower to an already stacked Dynamite lineup. Fans are also looking forward to the Casino Gauntlet to determine the next AEW World Title challenger, the return of Kenny Omega, and a must-see match between Bobby Lashley and Mark Briscoe.
