Sheamus isn’t hanging up his boots anytime soon! The Celtic Warrior confirmed on Insight with Chris Van Vliet that he’s signed a new five-year deal with WWE, putting rumors about his future to rest.
“Not really,” Sheamus replied when asked if he had an end date in mind for his wrestling career. “I just signed a new five-year deal. I’ll go until the wheels fall off. I’ll do it until I can’t physically do it anymore. I love what I do. There is plenty of time to sit back and read a book and watch TV. There is a lot of that.”
PWInsider initially reported the length of Sheamus’ deal back in September 2024, and now the four-time WWE Champion has confirmed the news himself. The fan-favorite returned from a rib injury during the December 30 episode of WWE Raw, showing he’s ready to keep the momentum going as he enters the next chapter of his storied career.
Sheamus is clearly all-in for the long haul, proving once again why he’s one of WWE’s most reliable veterans. With five more years ahead, it’s safe to say the Celtic Warrior isn’t slowing down anytime soon. Whether it’s delivering Brogue Kicks or stealing the spotlight, Sheamus remains a force to be reckoned with in the WWE universe.
