Hulk Hogan may be a WWE Hall of Famer, but his appearance during the January 6 edition of Monday Night RAW’s Netflix debut didn’t go as planned. Fans in the Intuit Dome made it clear that they weren’t thrilled to see the legendary “Hulkster,” showering him with boos and even hurling profane chants during his segment.
Ringside News has learned that off-camera chants of “F*** Hulk Hogan” echoed throughout the arena. The crowd’s disdain for Hogan extended beyond his live promo, as they even booed a pre-recorded commercial featuring him plugging Saturday Night’s Main Event.
Hogan, accompanied by his longtime manager Jimmy Hart, attempted to hype the crowd while promoting his Real American Beer. However, the audience didn’t give him much of a chance to speak, drowning out his words with boos every time he took the mic. The hostile reception reflects how Hogan’s public image has taken a massive hit in recent years.
Hulk Hogan’s troubled past, including racist comments that surfaced years ago, remains a significant stain on his legacy. While Hogan has repeatedly insisted that his actions don’t define who he is, many fans clearly haven’t forgiven or forgotten, and it’s unlikely they ever will. The once universally celebrated icon now faces a divided audience, and his ability to regain their trust and support seems uncertain.
