WWE delivered a standout episode of NXT on January 7, and that included some big changes for the developmental brand. They started off the new year with a return for Corey Graves.

During WWE NXT, Vic Joseph announced that Corey Graves will join himself and Booker T to make a three-man booth in NXT. Graves was very happy to be back.

The Savior Of Misbehavior chimed in that The Rock is around this week on NXT, and that was enough of a reason to be there, but also he gets to work with a WWE Hall of Famer like Booker T.

Corey Graves actually started off his commentary career in NXT. As a pro wrestler who wasn’t allowed to wrestle due to concussion issues, he learned the art of commentary, and he reached great heights there. Now he is back in NXT, and it’s still a great fit.

We will have to see how this changes the dynamic. WWE has shifted some things around, like Joe Tessitore’s move to SmackDown after Pat McAfee returned and re-formed his amazing chemistry behind RAW’s announce booth for their Netflix debut.
