The New Day can’t seem to catch a break since their shocking turn on Big E during the group’s 10th Anniversary Celebration in December 2024.
The latest snub came from none other than Boy Meets World stars Danielle “Topanga” Fishel and Will “Eric Matthews” Friedle, who were in attendance at the historic WWE RAW on Netflix debut on January 6 at the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, California.
In a digital exclusive segment released by WWE on YouTube and social media, Xavier Woods and Kofi Kingston approached the two celebrities backstage after the show. Woods greeted them warmly, saying, “Good to see you, you’re at the show tonight, hope you had a great time…”
Things took a turn when Fishel, without hesitation, asked, “Where’s your drink?” Woods responded, “I’m done. I finished it,” only for Fishel to deliver a brutal, “New Day sucks,” before walking off.
Adding insult to injury, Friedle chimed in with, “She’s right,” and followed Fishel as the scene ended, leaving Woods and Kingston standing there confused. A stunned Woods could only ask, “What, Topanga too?”
The segment has fans buzzing, as it seems even beloved TV icons aren’t siding with The New Day after their betrayal of Big E. The clip adds another layer of intrigue to the ongoing storyline as Woods and Kingston face fallout from their actions, not just from the WWE Universe but now from Hollywood’s finest as well.
