Monday Night RAW will be debuting on Netflix tonight and it’s a big moment for both WWE and the wrestling industry. However, there were concerns about Netflix’s ability to handle weekly programming, especially after the streaming issues during the Jake Paul and Mike Tyson fight. In light of such issues, Triple H has now addressed the same and made it clear he is confident there will be no issues.
While speaking on The Pat McAfee Show, Triple H was asked about Monday Night RAW potentially facing buffering issues during their broadcast and whether they troubleshoot any issues beforehand.
Triple H made it very clear that he isn’t worried and praised Netflix for being very professional and mentioned how they handled the Tyson-Paul fight as a test run to avoid problems. He’s confident WWE and Netflix have everything under control and called their partnership amazing.
“I’m not concerned about it at all. The Netflix people are the most professional people on the planet. One of the things I thought was great they did the Tyson-Paul fight, it was sort of all the litmus test stuff for us to come in there and not have issues, to be able to come in here, be seamless, do what we do and not have any problems. If we can do anywhere near the numbers they did, I’d be ecstatic. This is what Netflix does, they’re the best of the best, they’ve got it figured out, we have it figured out. This partnership has been incredible.“
The Netflix debut is a big step for WWE, as it opens the door to reaching more fans worldwide through Netflix’s huge audience. With Triple H’s confidence and Netflix’s strong reputation, viewers can look forward to an upgraded experience that elevates RAW to a new level.
