Tony Khan is no stranger to taking shots online. After all, Gabe Kidd just called him a “butthurt rat,but that didn’t land Kidd in much trouble. The same is not true for one NJPW commentator who dared to take a shot at TK.

Chris Charlton has been a topic of discussion in wrestling after calling Tony Khan a “money mark” during commentary at AEW x NJPW Wrestle Dynasty. That comment was heart by a lot of people, and many have commented on it.

Tony Schiavone addressed the situation on social media in a now-deleted tweet. He told Charlton to “go f*ck himself,” as he used the popular “GFY” acronym. He also added a comment suggesting Charlton doesn’t have the best hygiene practices.

“Hey @ReasonJP speaking for all of us in AEW, GFY. And speaking for all of us who have been around you, take a shower once in a while.”

Chris Charlton has been put on a hiatus following his off-color comment about Tony Khan. Obviously, this was a statement that blew up in a way that he may not have expected.

Tony Khan comes from a lot of money, and he was also a massive fan of pro wrestling before starting AEW. This money mark accusation has been floated around before, but it’s obvious that he isn’t okay with the idea gaining steam.

We will have to see if he makes a return to NJPW commentary any time soon. At this point, it doesn’t seem that he’s won any favors with his comment about Tony Khan. This reaction from Tony Schiavone certainly proves that he won’t let someone make that kind of comment without some fire coming his way.
