John Cena’s retirement tour kicks off on the January 6th edition of RAW, with many events lined up through December 2025. While he continues to have commitments outside of professional wrestling, it has now been revealed whether the upcoming Peacemaker season 2 could potentially affect his WWE schedule this year.

The Leader of Cenation completed filming for Peacemaker season 2 during Thanksgiving weekend last year. While physical filming is finished, he may be needed later for additional dialogue recording or promotional work as the release on Max approaches this year. This suggests that Cena’s WWE schedule may not be significantly impacted by the show, aside from possible promotional commitments.

The second season of Peacemaker is set to release in August 2025, so there is plenty of time for fans to catch up on the first season and get acquainted with John Cena’s iconic character.

In the meantime, quite a lot of merchandise based on John Cena’s Farewell Tour is already selling, ahead of his appearance on RAW tonight. Regardless, tonight will begin the end of an era for professional wrestling fans and that’s why it’s not a surprise that fans simply want to see Cena as much as possible this year until he retires once and for all.
