According to Dave Meltzer, WWE executives are optimistic about The Rock appearing on the grand stage, with early discussions revolving around a match for the Raw title against Cody Rhodes, potentially incorporating the People’s Belt. However, nothing is set in stone, and The Rock’s freedom to choose his path has left fans guessing.

“At first it was the Raw title given Rhodes vs. Rock would be for the other title and People’s belt,” Meltzer noted. “This isn’t etched in stone because whatever Rock wants to do, he’s likely going to be able to do.”

Chris Featherstone also reported that WWE is proceeding with creative plans as if The Rock won’t be at WrestleMania, but those plans could change depending on his schedule. Meanwhile, The Rock himself has denied rumors about his absence, responding to a fan on Instagram, “Don’t believe any of that bull****.”
