After his shocking return at the Bad Blood Premium Live Event, fans have been eager to know when the Great One would make his next WWE appearance, and now it’s clear he’s ready to electrify the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles.
The Rock took to Instagram on January 5 to share a video hinting at his return. In the caption, The Rock reflected on his commitment to honoring his Samoan roots, proudly carrying Polynesian culture throughout his life and career. He also dedicated his return to his family and ancestors.
“Until then, I’ll come back home to @wwe tomorrow night as we make history on @netflix and begin a new and exciting era,” The Rock wrote. “Tomorrow night is dedicated to my grandfather, the High Chief Peter Maivia, my grandmother, Lia Maivia and my dad, Rocky ‘Soulman’ Johnson and my ancestors who have ALL paved the way.”
While WWE has yet to reveal exactly how The Rock will factor into the premiere, but earlier reports suggest he’s scheduled for an appearance. Whether it’s a promo, an in-ring segment, or something entirely unexpected, his presence alone adds star power to the new era of RAW.
