Ren Narita defended his NJPW World Television Championship against Ryohei Oiwa, Jeff Cobb, and El Phantasmo at Wrestle Kingdom 19 in what was undoubtedly one of the most highly anticipated matches. The excitement was justified, given the incredible in-ring abilities of all the competitors.

El Phantasmo kicked off the match with some fast-paced action before the momentum shifted as Ryohei Oiwa took control. Ren Narita then took down Jeff Cobb with a solid takedown, and soon after, Oiwa and Narita had a fast-paced exchange. In the end, Oiwa threw Narita out of the ring.

Jeff Cobb then did the unthinkable, performing a tope from the top rope and crashing onto Ren Narita, Ryohei Oiwa, and El Phantasmo on the outside. Narita attempted to cheat after the referee was taken out by all three competitors. He then proceeded to beat up Narita, and afterward, it became a three-way battle for a while.

The final moments of the match saw Jeff Cobb take out Narita but then El Phatasmo ended up hitting his massive springboard finisher to pick up the win and finally become the new NJPW World Television champion. This was a long time coming for Phantasmo who recently defeated cancer, so fans are definitely happy to see him win and are excited to see how he will perform as the champion.
