Bronson Reed, who has been a dominant force on WWE television in recent months, is currently recovering from an ankle injury. While he is out of action, Reed has stated that John Cena must face him before retiring to prove his status as the greatest of all time.
A fan recently took to Twitter and asked Bronson Reed about his opinion on potentially facing off against John Cena this year, asking, “Thoughts on a match with Cena this year?”
Reed responded to the tweet as he challenged John Cena to face him before retiring, stating that if Cena wants to be considered the greatest of all time, he must experience Reed’s signature move, the Tsunami. Reed made it clear that Cena hasn’t faced anything like it yet.
“Big match John must face me before he retires if he even considers to call himself the goat. He has never experienced the TSUNAMI!”
John Cena’s retirement tour is set to begin during the debut of WWE RAW on Netflix on January 6th and he already has several dates lined up for his tour, which will end in December 2025. Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether Bronson Reed will square off against The Leader of Cenation during Cena’s retirement tour once and for all, as fans would love for that to happen once Reed returns from injury.
