Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan’s feud has been ongoing for a while, and it will all come to a head during RAW’s Netflix preview on January 6. Although a stipulation was originally advertised for the match, it seems that the match will no longer have that stipulation.
During the January 6th debut of Monday Night RAW on Netflix, Liv Morgan will defend her Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley. Last week, WWE announced during the December 26th episode of Main Event that Morgan and Ripley would face each other in a Last Woman Standing match.
However, WWE has since removed all mentions of the Last Woman Standing match and hasn’t advertised it ever since. Many fans who looked at the advertised card for the January 6th episode of Monday Night RAW on WWE’s website noticed that Morgan and Ripley’s match will be a regular singles match for the Women’s World Championship now.
To add to that, the match was also announced as a singles match during RAW Talk this past week. Unsurprisingly, quite a few fans were confused by WWE’s decision to remove the stipulation despite advertising it on Main Event as it’s not known why WWE decided to do this in the first place.
Even though the match type has changed, Rhea Ripley and Liv Morgan are still set for an exciting fight for the Women’s World Championship. Fans are looking forward to seeing who will win on January 6th, but some think the match would have been more exciting with the original stipulation.
