WWE’s Monday Night Raw is leaving cable for the first time in three decades and heading to Netflix, and Seth “Freakin’” Rollins isn’t holding back on just how monumental this move is.
During a recent appearance on Good Morning Football, Rollins hyped the January 6 Netflix debut of Raw, set to broadcast live from the Intuit Dome in Inglewood, CA.
“This is without a doubt the biggest step forward in the history of our industry. That’s not an understatement,” Rollins declared. “We’re off cable for the first time in 30 years, going to streaming, the biggest streaming network on the planet. It’s gonna be incredible. This is the future of our industry. This is as big as it gets.”
The loaded premiere lineup features major matches, including Liv Morgan defending the Women’s World Championship against Rhea Ripley and a massive Tribal Combat showdown between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa. Rollins himself is set to face CM Punk in one of the evening’s co-main events.
Rollins didn’t shy away from showing excitement for his fellow superstars, adding, “You mentioned Liv and Rhea—they’re gonna do it for the women’s title there. You’ve got John Cena. Lots of surprises. It’s going to be huge.”
With Netflix offering a global platform and Raw’s history-making move signaling a new era for WWE, fans can expect monumental shifts as the company expands its reach beyond cable audiences.
