Asuka is a well-respected figure in the women’s division, but like many professional wrestlers, she has her share of critics. Surprisingly enough, Asuka has now claimed that she wouldn’t mind shutting down all her social media accounts.
The Empress of Tomorrow took to Twitter recently and simply stated that she does not mind shutting down all her social media accounts, saying, “I don’t mind shutting down all the social media accounts I have.”
One fan responded by saying they understood why she might feel that way, but also pointed out that doing so could make her critics believe she’s weak, though they emphasized that Asuka is far from weak, saying, “Sometimes dear I don’t blame you but that just makes haters think you are weak!!! You are far from that ma’am.”
Asuka then stated that erasing her presence from the public eye and enjoying complete freedom would be her ultimate victory. She added that making it impossible for anyone to reach her would be the perfect form of triumph.
“Erasing my existence from the public eye and enjoying absolute freedom – that’s my ultimate victory. Making it impossible for anyone to reach me – that’s complete triumph.”
The Empress of Tomorrow is one of the most active WWE Superstars on social media, which is why many fans feel it would be a huge shock if she decides to remove all of her accounts. Nonetheless, Asuka is currently out of action after suffering a knee injury and undergoing surgery for the same, so we’ll have to see when she will return to WWE television as fans expect it to happen this year.
Do you think Asuka should take a break from social media to focus on her recovery, or do you believe she should stay connected with her fans? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments section below.
