Riho has been out of action from in-ring competition after suffering a fractured arm injury during the July 6th episode of Collision. While she still hasn’t been cleared for a return yet, it appears Riho was backstage at Worlds End and was training in the ring.
According to her blog, Riho mentioned that her arm feels good, and she was training in the ring at AEW’s Worlds End pay-per-view before the doors opened. However, AEW’s medical team has advised her to wait 30 days before they reevaluate her for clearance. She also noted that she has lost some weight, which has made taking bumps more difficult.
This update comes after Riho previously confirmed that her bone had healed completely, but she had trouble returning to the USA due to visa issues. Thankfully, most of her issues seem to have been resolved now.
As Riho works on her recovery, fans are eagerly supporting her return to the ring. With her incredible skills and determination to get better, it’s clear that she’ll be back soon, ready to remind everyone why she is a former AEW Women’s Champion.
We will have to wait and see what AEW will have planned for Riho once she makes her triumphant return to AEW television, as a program with Mariah May for the AEW Women’s Champion could most definitely happen.
How excited are you for Riho’s eventual return to AEW? What matches or rivalries would you like to see her take part in once she’s back? Please share your thoughts and feedback in the comments section below.
