Ric Flair is capable of a lot of things in the world of professional wrestling, but many fans have assumed that he has retired following his last match a couple of years ago. However, it appears he is still open to competing in one more match.

While speaking to The Five Star podcast, Ric Flair revealed that when Tony Khan found out he was on blood thinners, he did not let The Nature Boy step foot inside the squared circle in AEW, saying, “When Tony found out I was on blood thinners, he wouldn’t let me get in the ring.”

One of the interviewers then told Ric Flair he definitely has one more match in him, saying, “You got one more match in you man.” In response to the interview, Ric Flair completely agreed, stating, “Hell yeah I do!”

Ric Flair got the chance to retire on his own terms a couple of years ago as The Nature Boy teamed up with his son-in-law Andrade El Idolo and faced Jay Lethal and Jeff Jarrett on July 31st, 2022. Initially, it was believed that Flair staged a heart attack, causing real concern among fans. Ultimately, Flair won the match but it was then revealed he suffered a legitimate heart attack.

Therefore, we will have to wait and see whether The Nature Boy will actually end up competing inside the squared circle again for one last match, as many fans feel he really shouldn’t wrestle anymore.
