WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair is always capable of stealing the show no matter what he does and it’s always a huge deal when he appears on a wrestling show. In fact, Flair has now confirmed his status for the January 4th edition of AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina.
While speaking to The Five Star podcast, The Nature Boy was asked whether he will be making an appearance during the January 4th edition of AEW Collision in Charlotte, North Carolina. Flair confirmed that he would not be present for the show but stated that AEW obviously would be, saying, “Missing Charlotte. I’m not myself physically, but our company is.”
Tony Khan introduced Ric Flair to AEW in October 2023 as a special tribute to Sting in celebration of his retirement. Sting’s retirement match took place last year at the Revolution pay-per-view. Flair’s last televised appearance was also at Revolution, where he accompanied Sting and Darby Allin. During the event, Flair had a memorable moment when he was hit with superkicks from The Young Bucks.
Although Ric Flair won’t be at Collision in Charlotte, the event promises to deliver excitement with its stacked lineup of AEW talent, especially since Rated FTR will be in action during the show.
