Kofi Kingston isn’t holding back as the new year kicks off, delivering a bold message that has the WWE Universe talking After weeks of controversial behavior, including breaking a young fan’s heart with a lump of coal at a live event, Kingston took to Twitter on January 1, 2025, to double down on his newfound attitude.
“No bullshit. Just hard work. And the Truth. Whether you like it, or not. 2025 belongs to us,” Kingston tweeted, sending a clear signal that his alliance with Xavier Woods is here to dominate.
This proclamation comes after the duo cemented their villainous transformation by humiliating fans during a WWE live event in Rosemont. A viral video captured the moment Kingston and Woods gave a young fan what appeared to be a heartfelt gift, only for the child to unwrap it and find a lump of coal. As the crowd reacted in shock, Woods and Kingston handed out more coal to fans, with Kingston even calling the child “ungrateful” after the fan threw the gift away.
The New Day’s antics have turned them into WWE’s most hated Superstars, especially after they turned on their former brother Big E during the December 2 episode of RAW. Their actions since then, including taking shots at Big E and his girlfriend, have only fueled the animosity from fans.
