AEW works hard to make every episode of Dynamite exciting, and the January 1, 2025, show will be no different. It’s the Fight for the Fallen special, and the company is determined to kick off the new year in the best way possible.
“Freshly Squeezed” Orange Cassidy goes head-to-head with Hangman Page for the first time inside an AEW ring during Dynamite this week. They have been involved in a big feud over the past few weeks as they were pursuing Jon Moxley’s AEW World Championship, so we’ll have to see who will pick up the win in this highly anticipated match.
Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin will be duking it out with The Acclaimed in tag team action. Max Caster and Anthony Bowens certainly have their work cut out for them since Lashley and Benjamin are absolutely merciless. So, it remains to be seen if The Acclaimed will be able to survive The Hurt Syndicate.
Adam Copeland, Dax Harwood, and Cash Wheeler will take on Jon Moxley, Claudio Castagnoli, and Wheeler Yuta in a trios match. Copeland came back at AEW Worlds End and destroyed Jon Moxley, setting the stage for what will definitely be an incredibly intense match. It will be interesting to see if Rated FTR will be able to put down the Death Riders once and for all.
Julia Hart steps back into the ring for the first time after returning from her injury, facing former AEW Women’s World Champion Jamie Hayter. Their feud has been building up for the past few weeks, so fans can expect a solid match between the two.
“The Last Outlaw” Jeff Jarrett is set to address his in-ring career in AEW during this week’s Dynamite. Fans are curious to see what the pro wrestling legend will have to say, as some speculate he might just announce his impending retirement.
Tonight’s edition of AEW Dynamite has several solid matches featuring Hangman Page, Jon Moxley and many more, so it’s definitely something fans shouldn’t miss. AEW Dynamite will be airing at 8 PM ET on TBS as well as streaming on MAX. The show will take place at the Harrah’s Cherokee Center in Ashville, NC and fans can look forward to a lot of great action at the event.
