John Cena’s retirement tour is set to begin in just one week and he already has several dates lined up for his tour, which will end in December 2025. He is set to appear on the debut episode of RAW on Netflix and his in-ring return status for the show has been revealed.

During a recent Live Q&A on Backstage Pass, WrestleVotes addressed rumors about John Cena making his in-ring return on RAW’s Netflix debut, especially with Logan Paul. WrestleVotes dismissed the idea of the match happening on the upcoming Monday but confirmed that WWE is interested in the matchup.

They explained that if the match does happen, it would be promoted a lot, so it’s not planned for now. There is interest from both sides, but WWE doesn’t want the match at WrestleMania.

“No, if they’re asking if they can wrestle on the Netflix show, I would say no. That match, if it were to happen, it’s going to get heavily promoted. So no, yeah, that that story just remains as we reported last Thursday, you know, interest on both sides, interest within the WWE to do the match, however, not at WrestleMania, that’s where.”

It was previously reported that WWE management didn’t like the idea of Cena facing Logan Paul at WrestleMania 41. They want Cena to face a more experienced opponent at such a big event. Regardless, Cena will be kicking off his retirement tour next week on RAW, so we’ll have to see what The Leader of Cenation will have to say on the highly anticipated show.
