Why Baron Corbin Hasn’t Appeared in Another Promotion After WWE Release

Baron Corbin was released by WWE back in November this year and fans instantly started wondering where he would end up next, as many fans feel he still has a lot left to accomplish in the business. After all, Corbin still hasn’t appeared in any pro wrestling company yet and now the reason for his lack of appearances has been revealed.

While speaking during Fightful Select’s Q&A, Sean Ross Sapp was asked about Baron Corbin’s status following his backstage appearance at the Worlds End pay-per-view and whether he can appear at any wrestling show.

Sean Ross Sapp stated that Baron Corbin is simply not contractually eligible to make an appearance in any professional wrestling promotion for at least another month, as he said, “He’s not contractually eligible to appear anywhere for at least another month anyways.” This would explain why Corbin hasn’t made any official appearance in any company yet but that will be changing next year.

It has also been reported that Baron Corbin’s WWE release came down to the wire. Nevertheless, we will have to wait and see whether The Lone Wolf will end up signing with a major pro wrestling company next year, as it’s clear his journey in the business is far from over.
