The countdown to John Cena’s final run begins next week on WWE RAW’s Netflix premiere, marking the start of the legendary superstar’s farewell tour. WWE made the emotional announcement during the December 30th episode of RAW, dropping a poignant promo with the tagline: “THE LAST TIME IS NOW.”
Cena’s farewell tour is set to span throughout 2025, with confirmed appearances at marquee events like the Royal Rumble, Elimination Chamber, and WrestleMania 41. While fans have had time to prepare for this inevitable goodbye, the reality of saying farewell to one of wrestling’s greatest icons is finally sinking in.
The January 6 RAW premiere on Netflix will be held at the Intuit Dome in Los Angeles, California, and promises to be a monumental event. Cena’s appearance headlines a stacked card that includes Tribal Combat between Roman Reigns and Solo Sikoa, CM Punk vs. Seth Rollins, and a Last Woman Standing match for the WWE Women’s World Championship between Liv Morgan and Rhea Ripley.
In addition to Cena’s appearance, WWE is pulling out all the stops for this new era, featuring Michael Cole and Pat McAfee on commentary and a post-show hosted by Big E, Joe Tessitore, and Wade Barrett.
Cena’s farewell tour represents the end of an era, with fans already bracing themselves for an emotional ride. The 16-time World Champion has been synonymous with WWE for over two decades, and his upcoming matches are bound to be can’t-miss spectacles.
