WEW is kicking off 2025 in style with its special Fight for the Fallen episode of AEW Dynamite this Wednesday, January 1, live from Asheville, NC.

Tony Khan announced that Hurt Syndicate (Bobby Lashley and Shelton Benjamin) will take on The Acclaimed (Max Caster and Anthony Bowens) in a blockbuster tag match.

“This Wed, January 1, Asheville, NC, Wednesday Night #AEWDynamite, 8pm ET/7pm CT on TBS + MAX,” Khan tweeted. “Hurt Syndicate vs The Acclaimed on New Year’s Day!”

The tag match adds excitement to an already stacked card, including the first-ever singles clash between Orange Cassidy and Hangman Page. Hurt Syndicate vs. The Acclaimed pits two dominant forces against each other, with fans eagerly awaiting the powerhouse duo of Lashley and Benjamin squaring off against the charisma and energy of The Acclaimed.
