The Toyota Center in Houston, Texas saw the very last WWE RAW on the USA Network. With the red brand’s big move to Netflix going down next week, they wrapped it up by deciding the finals for the Women’s IC Title tournament.

The new Women’s Intercontinental Championship was unveiled during a segment on the November 25 edition of WWE RAW. Since then, a tournament has been featured on RAW, with women all vying to advance to become the first champion.

Zoey Stark represented Pure Fusion Collective, while Dakota Kai had Damage CTRL behind her, although she had the chance to facing IYO Sky in the finals if they both won their semifinal matches.

Dakota Kai vs. Zoey Stark was featured on this week’s RAW, as the two fought in a semifinals match. Both of them wanted to go on to the final match, and they made no secret about that fact as they threw down during the second match of the night.

Kai and Stark fought through a commercial break, and they traded advantage during this match. There were also a handful of near falls, which got fans going each time they thought the match was over.

The finish for this match came after Dakota Kai nailed a Pele kick to advance in the tournament. This was a big win for her, and now we have 1/2 of the finals set.

January 13’s RAW will see the finals of this tournament go down. That will be the red brand’s second week on Netflix, so we will have to see how they hype the match until then.
