Charlotte Flair Seemingly Hints at Character Change Ahead of WWE Return

Charlotte Flair has been on the shelf since she injured her knee on December 8, 2023, but she has been working hard to ensure she will be back in the best shape possible. Ahead of her imminent WWE return, Flair seemingly hinted at a change in character that definitely got fans talking.

The multi-time Women’s Champion took to Twitter and uploaded a photo of herself wearing a dark outfit while sitting in front of several monitors. She also dropped a Triple H reference in the caption, saying, “It’s all about the game and how you play it,” as she seemingly hinted at a change in character to something darker.

This comes after WrestleVotes reported that WWE’s creative team is working on a fresh look for Charlotte Flair’s return. It was noted Charlotte would embrace her “Queen” persona even more, with a darker and more intense vibe.

“Not gimmick, per se. I think her, or I can’t say, I think I know her presentation will be different. It’ll be more towards ‘The Queen’ type of gimmick, kind of like a, you know what? I’m not even going to go there because the internet’s going to take it for go wild, just maybe like a dark queen, okay, maybe like a little Seth Rollins-esque flair in her attire, she’ll just be turned up a little volume wise.”

In the meantime, Charlotte Flair has been training for her comeback to the ring and Dave Meltzer even reported that Flair is in great shape ahead of her in-ring return. Therefore, we will have to wait and see how fans will react to Flair’s comeback, especially after she comes back with a darker character.
