AEW decided to close out 2024 in a big way as they held special episodes of AEW Dynamite, Collision, Rampage and even ROH Final Battle at the Hammerstein Ballroom. Fans obviously wonder whether AEW will return to the iconic venue again and now Tony Khan has confirmed he would love to do that in the future.

While speaking during the post-AEW Worlds End media scrum, Tony Khan was asked whether the Hammerstein Ballroom would become a holiday tradition for AEW. Tony Khan stated that he would love AEW to return to the Hammerstein Ballroom for future shows. He talked about how successful AEW’s past events there were, like the Christmas Dynamite and Collision.

Khan praised the venue and the energy of the New York fans, saying it was one of AEW’s best events. Khan said he’d be happy to bring AEW back to the Hammerstein, whether during the holidays or another time, because it was such a great experience.”

“I really loved being in the Hammerstein Ballroom. I thought that was a tremendous weekend for AEW. Big success having the Christmas Dynamite and Collision. Really a great holiday weekend, I would be open to that and I think anytime we can go back it would be great for AEW. One of the best sets of shows we’ve ever done. So the settings and fan was a huge part of it. I thought the shows delivered, so absolutely, I would love to go back to Hammerstein, whether it’s the Holidays or any time. The New York fans are awesome and the Hammerstein setting and the fans were tremendous.”

Even Tony Schiavone made it clear he would love for Hammerstein Ballroom to become a yearly tradition for AEW. The Hammerstein Ballroom holds a special place in wrestling history, and AEW’s recent events there have added to its legacy. Tony Khan’s excitement about the venue and him confirming he wants to go back to the venue has gotten fans excited, so we’ll have to see when AEW will hold shows there again.
