Kyle Fletcher Makes First Remarks After Crushing Defeat at AEW Worlds End 2024

Kyle Fletcher saw a resurgence in his career thanks to his feud with Will Ospreay and it came to a head at AEW Worlds End, where he faced off against his former friend in the semi-finals of the Continental Classic. Ospreay finally beat Fletcher in the match and now Fletcher has made his first remarks after his loss.

AEW took to Twitter and uploaded a video of Kyle Fletcher following his loss at AEW Worlds End, where Fletcher addressed his loss. He said the loss doesn’t change his goal of becoming the best wrestler ever. Fletcher admitted Ospreay won but pointed out the damage he caused during the match.

Fletcher was confident Ospreay wouldn’t win the championship because of it and said they were tied at one win each and promised to prove he’s better in the future. He called the loss a small setback and said his focus on being the best hasn’t changed.

“Will I bet you feel pretty lucky right now. I sit here covered in your blood, you sit there covered in your blood. That’s exactly how I want to be. You might have got the three count today. I might not be going to the finals of the Continental Classic. But I know in my heart there is no way you are winning that championship because of the damage I have already inflicted in you. Yes, you got the three count. Yes, you got a Styles Clash out of nowhere and a one, two, three. Congratu-fricken-lations. We’re one and one, Will. But I know in my heart that I am so, so, so much f****** better than you. When the time comes, I will prove it, and until then, I will continue on this path to becoming the best ever. This is just a tiny little blip in the road. Nothing changes.”

Will Ospreay made his way to the finals to face Kazuchika Okada but was ultimately unable to defeat The Rainmaker to become the AEW Continental Champion, as Okada retained his title. It’s unclear that’s next for Ospreay and Fletcher heading into 2025, but fans can expect the two to reignite their feud somewhere down the line.
