Adam Copeland suffered fractured tibia after jumping off the cage during his steel cage match at AEW Double or Nothing and he got lots of criticism for his actions and felt he was reckless. However, Dax Harwood clearly sees it differently and recently hit back at those who criticized Copeland for the risky spot that led to his injury.

While speaking during the post-AEW Worlds End media scrum, Dax Harwood defended Adam Copeland after people criticized him for jumping off the cage at Double or Nothing. Harwood said Copeland is a legend in wrestling, and his career is what every wrestler dreams of having. He questioned why Copeland shouldn’t be allowed to take risks like jumping off a cage.

Harwood added that Copeland has earned the right to make those decisions because of everything he’s accomplished. He called out critics, including other wrestlers, who question Copeland’s choices. Harwood explained that if Copeland wants to jump off a cage and gets hurt, they deal with it, recover, and move on—just like Copeland has done.

“This man is one of the greatest of all time and his career is what everybody strives to have when they start in professional wrestling. Just because he is who he is at the age that he is, why..why can’t he go to the top of the cage and dive off? Why can’t he? If he wants to do it and he’s Adam Copeland, he’s had the career that he’s had, so why? We have some of his peers and some of the people that like to criticize what we do and they ask him, they question him. This is Adam f****** Copeland. If he wants to jump off a cage, let him jump off a cage. If he breaks his leg, he breaks his leg, oh well we move on and we come back and that’s what we’ve done and come back.”
