Zelina Vega is temporarily out of action after sustaining an injury that derailed her plans in the WWE Speed Women’s Number One Contender’s Tournament.
On the December 27 episode of WWE Speed, Vega was scheduled to face Natalya in the quarterfinals, but fans were surprised to see B-Fab step into the match instead.
During the broadcast, Corey Graves explained the substitution, stating that B-Fab replaced Vega due to an injury. Natalya ultimately defeated B-Fab to advance in the tournament. However, WWE has yet to provide further details about the nature or severity of Vega’s injury, leaving fans with more questions than answers.
This setback marks Vega’s first absence since her last match at the December 9 taping of WWE Raw. That night, she competed in a first-round match for the WWE Women’s Intercontinental Championship Tournament but fell short in a three-way match against Lyra Valkyria and Ivy Nile.
As of now, there’s no timeline for Vega’s return to the ring, and fans are left wondering when they’ll see her back in action. WWE has not released an official update, but the hope remains that the injury isn’t too severe.
