Karl Anderson has provided a new update on his road to recovery after undergoing surgery for a torn rotator cuff and labrum. The WWE star, who hasn’t wrestled since the NXT taping on October 1, shared the extent of his injuries during a recent episode of Talk’n Shop, confirming he’ll be sidelined for several more months.
“I’m at home now, obviously with my injured shoulder,” Anderson revealed. “I am out indefinitely for at least six or seven more months with a torn rotator cuff and a torn labrum. The labrum… I think before you wondered if that was an old injury, and I have to say, it was not. It’s coming back. I’m able to a little movement.”
The setback has kept Anderson out of action since November 4, when he first shared a photo of his arm in a brace and told fans he’d see them after WrestleMania. Doctors have estimated a recovery timeline of six to nine months, which means Anderson’s return to the ring is likely to happen in late 2025.
Anderson’s update has fans rooting for his full recovery as he works through an extended hiatus. With his sights set on returning stronger than ever, the WWE veteran’s journey back to the squared circle will no doubt be an inspiring one.
