The December 27 episode of SmackDown at Tampa’s Amalie Arena wrapped up with two dark matches and a heartfelt post-show celebration that left fans buzzing. These exclusive moments brought the perfect close to an already action-packed night.

In the first dark match, Bianca Belair and Dakota Kai joined forces to take on Shayna Baszler and Sonya Deville. The dynamic duo of Belair and Kai secured tne victory.

Sami Zayn also reflected on WWE’s incredible 2024, calling it one of the best years in company history. He praised the Usos for their transformation into mega-stars and applauded Tampa for being a true wrestling town.

Braun Strowman followed with an emotional speech, addressing the tough years he’s faced, including a neck injury and the loss of close friends Bray Wyatt and Luke Harper. The arena glowed with fireflies as he paid tribute to their families, bringing out Bray Wyatt’s children and Luke Harper’s family for a heartfelt moment.

“This is my godson, Knash, and his beautiful sister, Hyrie over there and JoJo, the whole family. I’ve had an unbelievably rough couple of years. I thought my career was over with my neck injury. I’ve lost two of my best friends in this industry in the last four years, and what keeps me moving and doing this every night are these kids, and every single one of y’all. I freaking love this, I love them, and I love every single one of all. I wish you many, many blessings in 2025.”

Jey Uso capped off the night by inviting Luke Harper’s family into the ring, solidifying a touching tribute. “This the Wyatt Family for real. This the next Bloodline for real,” Uso said, embracing the legacy of Wyatt and Harper while looking to the future.

The night ended with fans witnessing a rare and heartfelt blend of wrestling action and genuine connection, leaving a lasting impression on everyone in attendance.
